This project is part of a PhD project at Uppsala University exploring ethical challenges, moral distress, and ethics support in nutritional care in primary and specialist care. The present study, “Making space for ethical conversations: a qualitative evaluation of ethical conversations in an ethics game in dietetic practice”, aims to explore how registered dietitians experience participating in an ethics game and the meaning they attribute to the game in relation to ethical issues in their professional practice. The study involves workshops where dietitians participate in an ethics game designed to facilitate ethical reflection and dialogue. Audio-recorded workshop discussions and subsequent focus group evaluations will be transcribed using Whisper on Bianca. The resulting transcripts will be used for qualitative analysis using reflexive thematic analysis. The project is conducted as part of an ongoing doctoral research project at Uppsala University and is expected to continue during 2026-2027.
