I request a small persistent virtual machine on Arrhenius PCD to host web services for a mass spectrometry proteomics research group at Lund University. The main service is a web server for sharing processed results (quantitative tables, QC reports, interactive visualisations) with collaborators. A second use is hosting and testing internal websites for knowledge sharing within the group, such as documentation, protocols, training material and prototype tools. Access is restricted to Lund University and a short list of named external IP addresses, with authentication. Only non-sensitive, de-identified data are hosted. All computationally intensive analysis is performed on other resources, not on PCD.
