This allocation will be used to support a diverse portfolio of projects conducted within the Sweden AI Factory during the testing validation phase. The work spans multiple domains in life sciences and biomedical research, including genomics and sequencing analysis, drug discovery and development, spatial omics, medical and biological imaging, microscopy, and other data-intensive AI applications. As a research engineer, I support academic collaborations by developing and testing. These projects often require substantial computational resources even before moving to the allocated resources from researchers. Access to GPU resources is essential for evaluating methodologies, benchmarking different approaches, and establishing reproducible workflows. The requested resources will enable rapid prototyping and validation of AI solutions across a broad range of life science use cases, helping researchers assess the potential of advanced AI methods while ensuring efficient utilisation of national computing infrastructure.
