SPRINTR is a national research infrastructure dedicated to accelerating precision medicine in cancer. The initiative integrates biomarker research, clinical trial platforms, and comprehensive data infrastructure to enable biomarker-driven treatment strategies across Sweden.
This project provides computational resources for SPRINTR Central Data, the central data management entity responsible for organizing and preparing genomic sequencing data from the GMS-560 gene panel for distribution to project-associated researchers. While primary research activities are conducted through a separate SPRINTR SENS project, the central data organization function requires substantial computational resources for data processing tasks including quality control, standardization, format conversion, and initial processing of raw DNA and RNA sequencing data. These preprocessing workflows are essential to deliver analysis-ready datasets to researchers but exceed the computational capacity currently available in the SPRINTR central data infrastructure.
This Bianca project will enable SPRINTR Central Data to efficiently process and organize sensitive human genomic data in a secure environment, ensuring timely data delivery to approved research projects while maintaining compliance with data protection regulations.
