The Genomic Data Infrastructure (GDI) project is enabling access to genomic and related phenotypic and clinical data across Europe. It is doing this by establishing a federated, sustainable and secure infrastructure to access the data. In this project we want to demonstrate our ability to do cross-border collaboration on sensitive human data. In this project we will demonstrate that it is possible to do cross border research collaboration with sensitive human data, in particular human genomic data.
