Two datasets will be handled under this project: - VaMiGyn has collected vaginal swabs, rectal swabs and saliva from c. 1000 women undergoing HPV-screening. Its aim is to assess how the microbiome of Swedish women varies in relation to demographics and health, with a particular focus on HPV infections and cervical cancer. - BASIC has collected fecal and saliva samples from c. 600 women during and after pregnancy. The goal here is to assess how their microbiome varies in relation to maternal, fetal and neonatal health.
