Abstract

Our research explores novel quantum phenomena, tackling fundamental open questions with direct implications for cutting-edge quantum technologies. Specifically, this project focuses on the numerical investigation of measurement-induced dynamics and phase transitions at the intersection of quantum information and condensed matter physics. While the field of quantum computing has seen remarkable recent progress, realizing practical applications requires overcoming noise to achieve long coherence times. Because measurement-induced quantum dynamics physically manifest the process of noise-induced decoherence in these devices, understanding them is critical. Ultimately, this knowledge is essential for accurately assessing the capabilities of quantum computers and for designing next-generation quantum algorithms and platforms.
