Abstract

This medium compute project will support battery thermal runaway & fire simulation and hydrogen dispersion simulation in several ongoing national and EU projects. They are (1) Carbon dioxide fire fighting experimental evaluation, funded by Swedish Transport Administration (grant number TRV 2023_33910) and Stiftelsen Sveriges Sjömanshus (FOU23-0016) during January 2024 and September 2026, (2) NAVHYS – Liquid hydrogen for maritime transport from 2025 – 2027. Specifically, this project will perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations using an open-source CFD code OpenFOAM.
