In this project, we investigate the development and integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-driven methods to enhance patient–pharmacist communication training. The aim is to support pharmacists and pharmacy students in practicing advanced communication skills in a simulated environment. The project evaluates the feasibility of using pre-trained LLMs, such as Google’s Gemini model, and identifies the technical capabilities required to support our platform's objectives, including multilingual performance and latency considerations.
