This is a FORMAS and VR-funded project in which I aim to obtain and analyze the complete genomes of several hundred bumblebee and butterfly specimens that had been collected throughout the last century. This will allow us to investigate how changes in agricultural practices in the last 150 years have affected the demography and genomic diversity of these pollinators, and whether they show signatures of adaptation to these changes at the genomic level.
