Abstract

This project focuses on performing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations of different ship hull shapes to analyse their hydrodynamic performance and generate a dataset for future AI-based modelling. The initial phase involves simulating different hull geometries to evaluate resistance characteristics using CFD techniques. The resulting simulation data will be organized into a dataset containing geometric parameters and key hydrodynamic performance indicators, providing the basis for developing machine learning models.
