This project is dedicated to testing computational tools and software packages for computational genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics, to understand disease mechanisms. Through this project, we aim to evaluate software pipelines dedicated to genomic and omics analysis, including association testing, genetic correlation analysis, expression quantitative trait locus mapping, prediction analysis, genomic partitioning, kinship calculation, and other related tasks. We will focus on testing methodology already published and available to the genetic epidemiology community, such as GenoPred, LDAK software tools, Regenie, Sussi, and others. Our goal is to validate these methods using simulated genomic data to ensure proper implementation before applying them to real data in our projects.
