Abstract

This project supports the storage needs for my compute project NAISS 2025/22-800, which investigates planetary- and synoptic-scale weather systems using global ERA5 reanalysis data. The analysis involves identifying and tracking atmospheric rivers, integrated vapor transport (IVT), jet streams, and cyclone features. These outputs are crucial for downstream analyses exploring the influence of large-scale circulation on extreme weather events.
