Abstract

Single-cell transcriptomics is extraordinarily useful as a readout of an organism's adaptation to a changing environment or developmental age, since the information integrates both genetic and environmental information. We are conducting work on how tissue from model organisms or postmortem human data is built up with regards to gene expression, transcriptomically defined cell types, and how this changes in response to disease and development. No data from living persons will be included.
