Abstract

We are in need of computer clustering (or computer power) to perform a GWAS on physical activity in a representative sample of the Swedish population. The PI is affiliated to Karolinska Institutet, and co-researcher is affiliated to Oxford University. As we would like to perform a genome-wide association study, we would like to run 22 parallel jobs (one for each chromosome) with at least 4-8 CPU cores per job and a minimum of 16GB of memory per job. We also need to repeat the GWAS two more times, among men and women separately. We would like this to be performed within the Bianca-klustret as it is usefull for handling sensitive data. I made a mistake with my previous application, and therefore I apply for a continuation to be able to use Bianca.
