Abstract

Two MATLAB workshops will take place on, 9th and 23rd September 23-25, 2025 (see https://www.mathworks.com/company/events/seminars/series/mondays-with-matlab-nordic-hpc-workshops-nrd-2025.html). The first is a webinar on parallel processing on HPC using MATLAB, the second is a hands-on workshop focusing on deep learning with MATLAB. The workshop is designed to teach researchers how AI can accelerate HPC simulations by introducing the concepts of Deep Neural Networks, including data pre-processing, and techniques on how to build, compare and improve accuracy of deep learning models using the familiar MATLAB interface. The target group for the workshops is Swedish researchers with basic knowledge of MATLAB who are interested in understanding how to use HPC and Deep Learning with MATLAB to further their research. The lecturers are Raymond Norris and Akhil Gopinath (MathWorks) assisted by Hamish Struthers (LiU).
