Abstract

Microbial communities are essential components of forest ecosystems, influencing health, growth, and fitness of forest trees and providing essential functions for soil nutrient cycling processes. I am involved in several project where we are using RNA-Seq data from tree root samples to functionally and taxonomically characterise microbial communities associated with forest trees. This compute project will be used to process and/or analyze several RNA-Seq and amplicon sequencing datasets for different projects, all in the context of forest microbial communities.
