Abstract

From basic science to translation, modern biomedical research demands computational models which integrate several interacting physical systems. Through collaboration with international partners, the developed software CHeart - a finite-element code for biomedical research - is in place for advanced multiphysics simulations. Having establihsed and tested CHeart in small scale problems in a prevoius small allocation, we now seek to expand the usage into large patient-specific models assesing both fluid and structural response across the heart, aorta, and brain.
