Abstract
I am a new bioinformatician in Fredrik Bäckhed's group, primarily focusing on analyzing global cohorts of metagenomic samples to study the role of the gut microbiome in human health, particularly in relation to type 2 diabetes (T2D). My research specifically investigates mobile genetic elements (MGEs) within the gut microbiome. Therefore, I am applying as a small-group user at PDC.
