Abstract

The objective of the project is to analyze sequence data generated with Illumina NextSeq 500 to A) To investigate the clonal population structure, genotypic diversity, and prevalence of virulence factors of Campylobacter isolates from animals, environment, and humans using molecular genotyping (WGS); and B) To reveal the genetic background of antimicrobial resistance of Campylobacter spp. isolated. Accordingly, I need computational resources for handling large amounts of sequence data for a detailed investigation of the genomic diversity of campylobacter in different settings. It helps to understand genomic diversity, molecular epidemiology, transmission between humans and livestock, and molecular mechanism of antimicrobial resistance of Campylobacter in Ethiopia.
