Abstract

The Single Cell Type Atlas is one of the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) resources, where external publicly available single cell RNAseq data is integrated to generate a cell type expression overview for every protein-coding human gene. The transcriptomic pipeline of the HPA includes a cell type classification and expression overview across tissues and cells representing the whole human body. The current version of the the Cell Type data, related to a different storage project (NAIS 2024/6-40: Single cell type atlas) will be expanded with additional tissues and cell data, such as Pituitary and Adrenal gland, different representation of the brain and some previous samples replaced by higher quality data recently published. Long term we would like to show multiple datasets per tissue type. The resulting data will also be compared to other projects like NAISS 2024/6-180, where this new cell type data will be compared with the mammalian counterparts.
