Abstract

In this project extensive numerical simulations will be carried out to investigate flow and solute transport as well as related coupled processes in fractured rocks. We will in particular look at the effect of various hydro-mechanical processes and related assumptions on radionuclide transport. Large fracture networks are investigated requiring extensive modeling resources. The work will lead to a PhD Thesis, planned to be presented in spring 2026.
