What drives the abundance of bird? By understanding the effect environmental factors have on the abundance of different bird species it is possible to more precisely asses how changes in the environment impact population sizes and by extension the vulnerability of said species. Here we aim to produce species specific models on the drivers of abundance in birds. We will use the models produced to investigate fundamental ecological questions and we will implement the findings to improve the estimation of biodiversity impact in environmental impact assessments.
