At our lab we develop a research software library for multilayer network analysis: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/multinet/index.html This resource is supporting the research of a PhD student who is studying data mining operators for multilayer networks, and needs virtual machines to perform the experiments. In the previous version of this project, the student used these resources to benchmark research software for multilayer network analysis. Based on his results, he is now developing algorithms to fill research gaps, that will be tested thanks to this continuation project.
