The NBIS related courses previously given at UPPMAX has had a shared folder where we keep material related to the courses. It could be everything from scripts to test data used in the computer exercises. This folder made it easy to share material between courses with overlapping subjects, as well as having it all in one place which did not change path between the courses. Now that many researchers will move to Dardel we will have to adjust our courses and run the courses mainly at PDC to teach the students in the same environment as they will run their future analyses in. The courses all have different themes to give researchers in different areas a familiar starting point, but they all relate to how to use HPC resources to carry out bioinformatic analysis.
