This compute project is bundling analyses of several different projects that are led by Dr. Nathalie Feiner. It replaces previous smaller compute projects and thus facilitates the integration between different projects.
Scientifically, the projects all broadly relate to genomics and transcriptomics of wall lizards of the genus Podarcis:
-one project uses whole genome resequencing (WGS) and RADseq data to identify the genomic basis of a suite of traits in the common wall lizard Podarcis muralis
-one project uses RNA-seq to establish gene expression differences between skin of different coloration in lizards
-one project uses WGS data from a number of different Podarcis species and investigates signatures of parallel evolution at the genomic level.
We are currently running extensive SNP-calling for more than 300 individual wall lizards from various species of Podarcis at medium coverage. We therefore wish to expand the computational hours in order to meet out demands.
