This project aims to simulate the dynamic interaction between a coupled soil-roller system using Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD) and the Finite Element Method (FEM). The MBD-FEM modeling will be conducted using Abaqus or Ansys, complemented by a custom MATLAB code for dynamic analysis. Additionally, MATLAB and Paraview will be utilized for data analysis and post-processing. HPC resources at NAISS are crucial for conducting efficient and detailed simulations, enhancing the understanding of soil compaction mechanisms and contributing to the development of improved construction practices.
