Abstract

The two Borrelia garinii strains ZQ1 and G1 have been serial cycled in vitro in sublethal levels of human serum to see if this can induce genetic changes. The strains have been whole genome sequenced at low, medium and high passage using Illumina and PacBio to see if and when genetic changes occur.
