Abstract
The goal of the project is to prove the existence of a certain type of self-similar singular solutions to the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation. Numerical evidence of a branch of solutions was given by Plecháč and Šverák and 2001 https://doi.org/10.1002/cpa.3006. The aim is to verify these using rigorous numerical methods.
