Single-cell transcriptomics is extraordinarily useful as a read out of an organisms adaptation to changing environment or developmental age since the information integrates genetic as well as environmental information. We are conducting work on how tissue from model organisms or postmortem human data is built up with regards to transcriptomically defined cell types and how this changes in response to disease and development . No data from living persons will be included.
