Abstract

The study of forced response on gas turbines has been of importance to understand the blade vibrations, increase the safety margins, and avoid any failure due to high cycle fatigue. To achieve the latter, the aerodynamic forcing needs to be accurately predicted. However, there are still computational limitations on how accurately it can be simulated.
