Abstract
The main aim of this project is to characterize genetic diversity within and between native Nordic horse breeds to be able to give advise on sustainable breeding for the future, as most of these breeds are threatened at present. We will whole genome sequence close to 200 samples from individual horses using two flow-cells. We plan processing and analysis of the data with UppMax.
