The project aimed to study the contaminated Oskarsham area versus Äsko, on the coast of Sweden. Several incubations have been carried out at different levels of copper concentration under hypoxic and aerobic conditions to study the chemical fluxes and the bacterial community. To study how the bacterial community reacts to these different conditions, from the incubations: RNA material was extracted and sequenced. Therefore, RNA-seq analyzes are required. To do this, we had seventeen five RNA samples, sequenced using an Illumina TruSeq stranded mRNA (polyA) method on a NovaSeqXPlus sequencing platform (NovaSeqXSeries control software 1.2.0.28691). The total data is around 1000 GiB, which will be stored and processed until obtain the genes that are differentially expressed in those different incubation conditions.
