Abstract

Earlier studies showed that diet can induce liver disease by affecting alternative RNA splicing in liver, however none of them studied the role of each type and quantity of individual diet ingredient especially sucrose and fat on alternative RNA splicing in liver. Hence, we aim to perform in silico analysis of RNA Seq data generated in our previous studies done in the lab as well as other studies available in the literature to simultaneously measure alternative RNA splicing events on multiple RNA types. These analysis will give us further insights into a mechanism through which, these dietary components induce liver pathophysiology.
