This project aims to investigate congestion pricing in future Swedish mobility scenarios involving shared autonomous vehicles (SAVs). We will focus on two cities: Stockholm and Umeå. A large-scale agent-based acitivity-based simulator called MATSim will be adopted for the analyses. A simulation with a 20 or 30% population sample in a scenario like Stockholm might take several hours. Since large scenarios like an entire city can involve several computation, running a job with MATSIM is likely to consume large amounts of memory (RAM). MATSim uses multi-threading to accelerate computing speeds.
