Epithelial tumor development is impacted by stromal cell types. We are using a chemical carcinogen model to investigate mechanisms of early tumor initiation in the oesophagus. Our work is centered around stromal fibroblasts, and how changes in cellular and molecular architecture impacts tumor formation.
