Abstract

Using advanced modeling tools such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and dynamic simulation environment for heat transfer performance, this project will contribute fundamentally with a new whole-system approach to cool PV modules, integrations with building thermal system for overall solar system cost-effectiveness upgrading. Variations types of cooling modules of building-integrated PV and thermal (BIPVT) will be simulated and detailed studied to assess their efficiency improvements.
