Abstract

The storage will be used to store the results of optimisation and parameter studies of railway switches and crossings models in two PhD projects. One project concerns design optimization of crossing panels. It will predominately run multibody simulations in Simpack but also some Abaqus for substructure generation. The other project concerns the the evaluation of derailment risk in switch panels. It will run multibody simulations in Simpack as well as larger FE-simulations in Abaqus.
