At SLUBI (SLU Bioinformatics Infrastructure) we provide bioinformatics services to researchers from a plethora of departments. These services range from simple advising to the implementation of bioinformatics pipelines and data analysis. Although we usually rely on UPPMAX projects of the research groups we advise, we would strongly benefit from having our own storage and computation power, to effectively test and develop pipelines in a controlled environment. The PI and proxy PI of this proposal works for one faculty (NJ) including more than three departments where a lot of researchers (including Prof., Lecturers, Postdoc, PhD students) aim at using bioinformatics in their projects. Therefore, the storage from this proposal would strongly help the PI's and proxy PI’s work which usually include dealing with two-three research projects at the same time.
