Studies have shown that gut microbiota is affecting various disease therapeutic outcomes. In the area of cancer, recent single-cell studies have shown that specific microbiome populations present in cancer patients with different therapeutic outcomes. To further investigate into this phenomenon, we intend exploit publicly-available data sources, to investigate across different diseases to study the gut microbiome population present in different diseased types and associate them with varying therapeutic outcomes.
