The allocation “UPSCb projects” is the SLU Bioinformatics Infrastructure (SLUBI) associated allocation for the projects managed by SLUBI for the SLU S (forestry) faculty. It will continue to allow for centralizing resources used across projects at the S faculty and reduced the burden and usage on the UPPMAX resources. Many projects are now reaching their completion and we hope to be able to downsize the allocation in the not-too-distant future. Having access to the resource is a key instrument in many projects, which are in their final active phase and for which we are asking for an extension the allocation. We would have been struggling to achieve the same outcome without the access to this allocation.
