In this project we study biogeography, population genetics and hybridization patterns in birds from the Australo-Papuan region using genomic data. We have so far sequenced > 10 de novo genomes and re-sequenced > 350 individuals of passerine birds including all species of bird-of-paradise. While we have a back-up storage solution in place at the Swedish Museum of Natural History for the raw reads, we need more allocation to map all reads, temporarily store intermediate BAM files and eventually do a variety of phylo- and population genetic analyses (we currently have 5 TB. of storage allocated to this project at sllstore2017055).
