Abstract
Offshore wind energy is an important renewable energy in the EU. Previous studies mainly focus on the impacts of offshore wind farms on wind speed. In this master's thesis, the student will explore the influence of wind farms on surface wave simulations. The student will use WRF and WW3 models to do several sensitivity experiments and explore the magnitude of the influence wind farms on waves.
