Abstract

Primula farinosa inhabits calcareous grasslands around the Baltic sea. We are interested in the spatial genetic variation of this species and aim to infer the movement of pollinators. This information will allow us to build mechanistic models of pollinator movement in heterogeneous landscapes. The models will be combined with metapopulation models of the plant to study the sensitivity of gene flow structure to changing landscape structure. Hence, this project will involve analyses of Primula farinosa genomes and metapopulation simulation modeling. This project at UPPMAX concerns the genomic analysis part. Sequencing projects are done at SciLifeLab, and the data are delivered to my UPPMAX account. I will download the data to Rackham storage space and conduct genomic analysis on Rackham.
