The aim of this project is to provide cloud computing resources for the Lund University Humanities Lab node of Swe-Clarin (https://sweclarin.se/), a national infrastructure consortium (funded by the Swedish Research Council) whose current phase extends up to the end of 2024. The aim of Swe-Clarin is to create an e-research infrastructure that makes language-based data and tools available and usable to scholars in the humanities and social sciences. Swe-Clarin is in turn a node in the European infrastructure consortium CLARIN (https://www.clarin.eu/). The Lund University Humanities Lab Swe-CLARIN node will use the SSC facilities 1) for development and deployment of web applications, such as WebScriptLog, and 2) for hosting interactive computational notebooks for tutorials. We are requesting additional resources to enable us to run multiple instances, which will allow us to split the servers for applications and tutorials.
