Mixotrophy in aquatic protists is pivotal to understand aquatic microbial food web dynamics, yet it remains poorly characterized. This project is intended to provide computational support for the assembly and analysis of >900 single-cell amplified genomes of several mixotrophic species sampled from aquatic habitats. Additionally, it is meant to serve as a playground for reanalysis of publicly available metabarcoding and metagenomic datasets where mixotrophic taxa might have been overlooked.
