The project is based on introduction of nucleotide miss-incorporation at positions downstream from an ssDNA nick. This is achieved by a novel-engineered DNA polymerase which will allow for determination frequencies of ssDNA nicks in the human genome and exact positioning of such. The project will determine which regions of the genome are susceptible to DNA damages upon irradiation or treatment with chemotherapy.
New sequencing has been preformed and will be analyzed. Additional datasets are expected.
