As of 2026, the Square Kilometer Array (SKA) will start to generate astronomical data that will be distributed to different SKA Regional Centers. We are in process of prototyping two different technologies for implementation of data transfer, data storage and data access. Here we propose to build and deploy one or more Kubernetes clusters and explore impacts of different deployments. We also intend to explore possibility to enable service mash between klusters in the same cloud as well as across different SRC sites (i.e. create Kubernetes clusters service mash between different deployments in Sweden, Spain, Switzerland and UK).
