At our lab we develop a research software library for multilayer network analysis: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/multinet/index.html We have hired a PhD student who is developing a benchmark for the evaluation of libraries for multilayer network analysis, and we need one or two virtual machines to perform the experimental study. The objective is to benchmark the research software for usage in desktop environments, therefore we are applying for the Science Cloud (and not for HPC resources).
