The course aims to provide a solid basis in basic bioinformatics methods and deals with theories, algorithms and practical applications in computer-based methodology for analysis of DNA / protein sequences, protein structures and data produced by large-scale methods for understanding interactions of different life molecules. The course will allow Masters and PhD students at SLU and Uppsala University on how to best use SNIC resources for the analysis of data related to their projects.
